Our client is the leader in financing of investment property including term loans, bridge loans and fix/flip financing.  The Head of Bridge Lending will be responsible for
 leading all efforts related to product development, business development, underwriting, loan funding and team management related to our Bridge Loan lending business.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review loan application and gather loan documents from the customer and third parties in support of the loan approval process.
  • Ensure that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified and complies with underwriting guidelines.
  • Confirm that data entry in loan operation system matches all loan documentation in the loan file.
  • Assist in the preparation of the internal credit approval memo 
  • Work with legal counsel, title and escrow, deal team and third parties to coordinate  kick-off and check-in calls, ordering of appraisal and title, the collection and review diligence materials, clearing of  conditions, rate lock and funding request.
  • Manage loan life cycle in pipeline and coordinate and drive communication across the deal team, including underwriting and originations.
  • Communicate with borrowers, third parties and internal business partners during diligence to facilitate efficient underwriting and loan closing. • Review borrower entity documentations/structure and transmits to legal counsel for review and approval.
  • Coordinate with internal deal teams and external vendors regarding pipeline forecasting.
  • Assist with warehouse financing draws.
  • Ensure loan files are complete.
  • Effectively apply loan processing standards and develop best practices approach for closings.
  • Additional duties as requested by management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  •  Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years mortgage loan processing experience
  • Superior internal and external customer service skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers
